SkiTrip

February 12-14 we will be going to Montreat for a Ski Weekend. Fellow Presbyterians from all over the country will join together to ski and praise! High School students welcome, Middle School students can come with a chaperone. Please click here and email Katy if you want to go. Your non-refundable deposit of $75 per family and the names of participants are needed by January 1. As of now we only have 10 spots reserved, and cannot reserve anymore without getting your deposits. Should you need to cancel after the deposit is paid, it can roll over to the next 412 event. Remember, the points you earn by participating in 412 events discount your trip cost. Contact Katy to learn about ways to earn more points and to reserve your spot.

412 starts back January 6! Do not miss it!! Middle School – We will pick you up right after school on Wednesday. We will continue our study of questions submitted by YOU! High School – Meet at the church at 6:15pm. We will start our study of The Gospel According to Harry Potter.

Our fundraising has earned us enough to make a contribution to Heifer! Come to Sunday School to help decide what animals we want to add to our Ark as we raise money. This project is a great way to fight hunger by giving families the means to support themselves through farming and livestock. Click here to learn more about Heifer Project. We will continue to tithe 10% as we carry on with our fundraising projects
and watch our Ark fill up!

ONGOING EVENTS

SUNDAYS

Sunday School - 412 (All grades 6-12) will be meeting at 10:15am in The Upper Room aka the youth room. Feel free to grab breakfast in the fellowship hall and bring it up with you. We will start off as a large group for a devotion and then break into small groups as appropriate for discussions etc. We have a great study ahead of us tackling the tough questions about God, Church, Our Denomination, and more. Look forward to seeing you there!

WEDNESDAYS

High School - On Wednesday nights we will have a special study and devotion time for 412 - high school youth. Come for dinner and stay for this special time from 6:15pm - 7:15pm. We will also be starting a 412- Work Crew that will help with dinners once per month - keep your eyes out for more info.

Middle School - MSA@CPC ROCKS! We have a great group meeting right after school on Wednesdays, and would love to add you to it. Email Katy to become a part of Middle School Afternoons at Christ Presbyterian Church. Do not worry about a ride, we wll pick you up!

MUSIC L.I.F.E Singers - L.I.F.E or Living In Faith Every Day, is your chance to use your vocal gifts at CPC. Come Wednesdays at 4:30pm to join this new and exciting music group. Email Myra for more info. EVERY OTHER SATURDAY xp (youth praise team) — In 2010, we will resume our every-other-week Sat. noon rehearsals commencing on Jan. 9th.

WHAT IS 412? 412 has been chosen as the new name of Student Ministries at Christ Presbyterian Church. It references Timothy chapter 4, verse 12: Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.	WHAT IS THE UPPER ROOM? Aside from being a reference to the place we meet (a room on the second floor of the church), it is also points to significant meeting place in the bible. The Upper Room is where Jesus had the last supper with the disciples, as well as where he appeared to them after his resurrection.
