It is our pleasure to wish everyone a happy and blessed New Year. For our January newsletter we would like to look to the promises of the year ahead and reflect on a tumultuous but encouraging year past. This time last year despite much effort Florida Days had but one lot which had sold, along with two unsold models (the Dryden and the Beulah) and a model under construction (the Stansfield). Today we are proud to say that all three models have sold; the Stansfield purchased during construction and the Dryden and the Beulah both sold within two weeks of each other this fall! All this in addition to a custom home being completed for Jake and Carrie Hickson.
With the success Florida Days saw in 2009 in even the worst of housing markets we are very optimistic about 2010. We are starting to see the light at the end of long dark tunnel, housing prices are beginning to stabilize and inventory continues to fall. Already we are seeing those who where once on the fence about a project start to move forward. All indicators show that we should expect big things to happen at Florida Days in 2010.
Already underway are two new models at Florida Days; the Cottage at 1,740 s.f. selling for $294,500 will be completed in early spring, buy now and you still have time to make selections and take advantage of the homebuyers Tax Credits! Clearing starts this week for the Beaufort a beautiful 2,000 s.f. 2-story model listed for $399,500.
